The SETU Waterford Library Junior Access Programme is being launched on Thursday 5th September for the 2024/5 academic year. This is the eleventh year of the early intervention programme being running in the Luke Wadding Library on the Cork Road Campus, Waterford.
The Library Junior Access Programme is an ongoing collaboration between the SETU Waterford Campus Library, the Access Office and six partner schools in the local area. These schools include De la Salle, Mount Sion CBS, the Ursuline, St Paul’s, Presentation and the Mercy secondary school here in Waterford.
Successful applicants from Leaving Certificate classes in these schools are given a personal SETU membership card and the opportunity to study in a quite academic environment where there are no distractions. It is their space, in their time, and their decision to make the best of the opportunity.
Many of the past students have chosen SETU as their third level college of choice, while others have chosen other pathways for their career progression.
We are delighted to welcome the latest programme participants and wish them all the best in their studies during this important academic year
